When I started my weight loss journey I used to say if I to myself if I hit the gym 6 days for a minimum of 1 hour I could have my ice cream, or chocolate bar or cake etc…
I realized that having this food reward was going to increase my losing weight challenge.
So I changed how I looked at things, instead of using food as a reward I looked at the calories and my exerscise.  I replaced reward with balance.
Very few stick to a diet that restricts them and that they are not “enjoying”.

1) When you indulge, go for the best. Wasting calories on sub-standard dessert just isn’t worth it. A better quality treat leaves you feeling more fully sated and less likely to overeat.
2) Get a fitness buddy. Pairing up with someone can be incredibly helpful. Chat about what’s working, what’s tough and use them as a support to help you stay on track.
3) Be uncomfortable. Exercise so hard you can’t talk, and really want to stop but know you shouldn’t!
